For this purpose, our job advertisements are placed as adverts on the social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. The protection of your privacy is important to us, which is why we, the Lindner Group KG, would like to inform you about how your personal data is processed.
We are not solely responsible for this data processing, but together with the operator of the social media platforms we are so-called "joint controllers". Due to the joint responsibility, an agreement was concluded in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR, in which the obligations of the parties to comply with data protection law are regulated. Our advert is a questionnaire that you can fill in. The questions serve to determine in a whether a position could suit you. Afterwards you will be contacted by us, but only if you consent to be contacted. We will contact you by telephone and/or e-mail. The next steps will be discussed with you and may result in an application for the desired position. You can find the data protection information for applicants here.
The purpose of processing your data as part of the short application is to establish initial contact in a simple manner with potentially suitable applicants for our job vacancies. So that potentially suitable applicants can be recognised, you are given the opportunity to answer a questionnaire.
The legal basis for the collection of personal data in the context of processing the questionnaire is your consent in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.

Your consent is always voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Information on revocation is described below in the section "Your rights when processing your data".
The following data is collected and processed as part of a short application:
First name and surname
Telephone number
E-mail address
Information in the questionnaire (e.g. education, degree, professional experience, language skills, the questions are adapted to the respective job advertisement)
Your personal data will be stored for a period of 3 months.
If you subsequently apply for the job advert in the context of a regular job application, the storage period for regular applications applies, which is 6 months.
In both cases your personal data will be deleted after the storage period.

Furthermore, the personal data collected is processed by the operator of the social media platforms (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) for its own purposes. One of these purposes is to improve the delivery of adverts.

The social media platforms where we offer the option to submit a short application are operated by companies headquartered in the USA. This means that your data may be transferred to an insecure third country that does not have a level of data protection comparable to that in the European Union. Information on the protective measures taken by Meta for data transfers to third countries can be found here.
You are under no legal or contractual obligation to provide us with your data. However, the transmission of your data is necessary in order to be considered for a vacant position and to be informed about the further procedure.
There is no obligation to give permission to store or contact you. However, without this consent, we will not be able to store your data or contact you afterwards.
As part of the agreement, it was agreed that Meta Platforms Ireland Limited is responsible for safeguarding the rights under Art. 15-20 GDPR. Please note that the data in a short application is only stored by Meta and not by us. We only store your data with us if you apply directly to us.

Irrespective of this, you can assert your rights with any controller.
In accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, you have the right to request information from the controller as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed.
In accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, you have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you also have the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data.
Pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, you have the right to obtain from Lindner Group KG the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay, provided that no other legal requirement precludes the erasure.
In accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, you have the right to request the restriction of processing if
- you contest the accuracy of your personal data,
- the processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes the erasure of the personal data and requests the restriction of their use instead,
- the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by the data subject for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
- you object to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR.
You have the right to revoke your consent at any time in whole or in part for the future. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. However, in the event of revocation, your short application can no longer be considered or can no longer be considered to the same extent. No further recruitment activities will take place after your cancellation. However, an obligation to continue storing your data may arise from statutory retention obligations.
You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on Art. 6 (1) lit. (e) and lit. (f) GDPR. Lindner Group KG will then no longer process the personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that outweigh the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the statutory provisions.
