Welcome to our Holiday Home Laurin!

Due to the great popularity of our holiday homes Rosengarten, Latemar 1, and Latemar 2, we acquired the Laurin house in 2024. It is also located in the "Karersee" holiday settlement at an altitude of 1,700 meters, just a short distance away.

The legend of King Laurin originates between Rosengarten and Latemar in the southwest of the Dolomites. Here, you can see the Rosengarten glow in the evening light and the dolls of Latemar dance. King Laurin warmly welcomes you to his realm.

The Laurin house offers two completely separate apartments for your vacation.

House rules

The house is also occupied by another family. Please be considerate.
We also kindly request that you refrain from smoking out of consideration for the guests who will follow you in the house.
Please do not enter the house with heavy boots (ski boots, hiking boots).

Parking

Each apartment has one parking space. The parking spaces are very tight, so please be considerate of each other.

Additional vehicles should be parked at the valley station.

Close windows when leaving the house!

Please make sure to fully close the skylight windows (apartment EG) and the bedroom terrace door (apartment GG) when you leave the house. Do not leave them ajar! The weather can change quickly, and rain can come in unchecked.

Waste separation

The trash bins are locked. The key is within the house close to the main entrance of the apartment.

Please place the trash bins at the road in front of the house the evening before and flip the yellow sign upwards. The garbage collection is charged per emptying. Therefore, please decide for yourself if an emptying is necessary.

Please take empty bottles and waste paper to the recycling center, just before the exit to the main road towards Welschnofen.

Forgot your bed linen?

If you have forgotten your bed linen, please contact the caretaker service. They have spare bed linen. Please do not use the mattress protectors as bed sheets.

Keep in mind before your departure

Please keep in mind before your departure: The cleaning service will arrive on Friday, your departure day, around 10 a.m. to prepare the house for the next guests. Please vacate the house by 10 a.m. at the latest, to allow enough time for the cleaning. If you need to leave earlier, kindly inform the holiday home team in Arnstorf: Ferienhaus@Lindner-Group.com, Tel. +49 8723 203611. This will allow the cleaning staff more time to manage their workload, as they also attend to the other houses.

We very much appreciate your support by leaving the residence in a tidy condition.

Especially the bathroom and kitchen – stove, refrigerator and tableware – should be cleaned. Please empty the refrigerator and waste bins and vacuum clean / sweep the floor.
Even if it is well-intentioned, please do NOT leave any food or drinks! The cleaning staff is instructed to dispose of all food items. Exceptions: salt, pepper, sugar, and spices.
Please turn the radiator thermostat to the frost protection symbol *. In summer you can turn it off completely.
Remember to close all windows.

Electric

Laurin EG (ground floor)
The switches for the living room are behind the living room door.
The switch for the electrical fuse for the ground floor apartment is in the hallway.

Laurin GG (garden floor)
The switch for the electrical fuse for the garden floor apartment is in the storage room (formerly the staircase).

Heating

The house is heated with gas.
The main control board for the whole house is located at ground floor. Do not touch or change anything.

Laurin EG has underfloor heating and radiators. Laurin GG has radiators.

This can happen... - damage report

Please leave a note for the caretaker, preferably on the dining table.

Please report any damage immediately, e.g. broken coffee machine, so that the guests after you, can also enjoy their stay.

Shopping possibility

A small, well-assorted grocery store can be found on the back side of the hotel CAREZZA for your daily shopping, e.g. freshly baked bread.
