Refurbishment with Listed Building Protection

Thanks to many years of experience in interior fit-out and numerous projects involving historical structures, we have become a reliable partner for listed buildings. In full accordance with the requirements of the heritage authorities, we preserve the traditional charm of your building while integrating state-of-the-art technology.

A prime example is the Parliament Building in Vienna, where a comprehensive refurbishment combined the building’s historic stone tiles with our FLOOR and more® comfort raised floor system. All building services are concealed within the raised floor, leaving the listed wall and ceiling surfaces untouched and fully visible.

A successful fusion of old and new was also achieved at Tettenweis Monastery. On the 38,000 m² site, the historic buildings were refurbished with respect for heritage protection while being adapted to meet modern standards. The Lindner Group carried out a full renovation to ensure accessibility and suitability for elderly and disabled occupants – from infrastructure renewal and structural work to fire protection and premium interior fit-out. Throughout the project, the historic atmosphere and the splendour of the representative rooms were preserved to the greatest extent possible.
