Inspection Hatches

Access panels – also referred to as inspection hatches – are integrated opening elements in ceiling or wall systems that allow easy access to concealed installations in the ceiling void, such as for maintenance, repair, or inspection tasks.

Access panels allow fast, safe, and tool-free access to concealed installations without damaging the ceiling. They integrate discreetly into the ceiling system and facilitate maintenance, repair, and inspection – even in areas subject to fire protection requirements.

Inspection hatches can be easily opened using integrated spring snap locks or lever latches, enabling quick and convenient access without tools.

They are used to provide access to installations such as ventilation ducts, electrical cables, or fire protection components, without the need to permanently open the ceiling. This keeps the ceiling system visually closed while maintaining functional flexibility.
