The Mobiliar, a Swiss insurance company, keeps very close proximity to its customers with over 80 branch offices in Switzerland. The combination between this proximity and Mobiliar´s sustainable corporate strategy strenghtens the traditional insurer´s position as one of the leading Swiss insurance companies.
Like all others, the branch office in the Bernese Monbijoustreet serves as a first contact point for concerns and needs of customers. However, this recently modernized property not used by Mobiliar exclusively. The upper floors of the building are rented out. Thanks to its innovative engery concept, the building is able to cover the largest part of its energy requirements with self-produced solar engergy. The energy concept also comprises efficient room temperature adjustment: Lindner hybrid canopy ceilings fitted with heating and cooling technology were chosen for the office areas, while hook- on ceilings were used in the canteen.
