The Charité - University Medical Centre Berlin is one of Germany's most renowned university hospitals and has the central tasks of healing, helping, researching and teaching. The Charité is one of the largest university hospitals in Europe. As a maximum-care hospital, it enables the treatment of a wide range of disease patterns.
The Lindner Group has carried out numerous installations at the Charité to ensure the smooth operation of the hospital. Among other things, Lindner installed 2,300 cable bulkheads and used 1,700 mortar bulkheads on pipelines to meet the necessary fire protection measures and therefore protect the entire building. In addition, 845 fire dampers were installed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke in the event of a fire, thus ensuring the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Due to the conscientiously executed work, the Lindner Group was further commissioned to install 1100 acoustic bulkheads in the visible area of the laboratories.
