With its immediate proximity to the Cologne central railway station and the Cathedral of Cologne, the Coeur Cologne is truly located in the heart of city. The six-storey building offers about 14,000 sqm of rental area with efficient spatial arrangement and bespoke fit-out. The interior design was planned by the local office LEPEL + LEPEL. Its sustainable building concept aims to reach a certification acc. to the DGNB Silver Standard.
Lindner SE took part in the interior fit-out of the Coeur Cologne through several performance areas. Lindner installed large quantities of ceiling systems with integrated heating and cooling technology. In the course of extensive consultation of the responsible architectural office msm meyer schmitz-morkramer, a concept was drafted that arranged a combination of Heated and Chilled Post-Cap Ceilings from the line Plafotherm® B and Heated and Chilled Plasterboard Ceilings Plafotherm® GK Hekda. This combination creates an efficient and sustainable system for temperature control in the Coeur Cologne. The range of performances also included hollow and raised floor systems of the types CAVOPEX, FLOOR and more® and NORTEC. Furthermore, the company delivered the glass partition systems Lindner Life Pure 620 and Freeze 137, the latter was partially executed in a demanding curved form.
