Rental spaces near the town quare of Augsburg and/or its adjacent lively shopping mile Annastraße are very sought-after. This led an investor, the private pension fund Berolina, to the decision for modernizing its property in this prominent location. The building complex now houses retailers, a restaurant and a centre for blood plasma.
In order to bring this piece of real estate in line with modern standards, an extensive modernization measure was conducted. Even though the building´s location is highly favourable for the tenants, it proved to be quite troublesome for the implementation of the construction works. In particular, the transport of materials and workforce proved to be a difficult task to manage. This and other factors rendered the project´s implementation planning very demanding. Lindner|Entwickler.Planer.Ingenieure GmbH was contracted with its conception and surveillance. The company was supported by the Munich-based engineering firm Dreyer.Jakob.Offener, which was responsible for drafting a concept for the technical building services planning. The successful outcome of this project was, among others, a result of the excellent cooperation between planning and executing parties - after all, Lindner was also contracted with the execution of the fit-out works.
