With the erection of the Culture and Education Centre, Bad Oldesloe´s town square received a centre for culture, city history, entertainment and education. On an area of about 3,000 sqm a variety of facilities was created, its heartpiece being the multi-functional event hall. It seats at least 200 guests of the events that take place there on a regular basis, including theatres, concerts, cabaret and other performances.
Lindner fitted the hall with NORTEC hollow floors and parquet coating in industrial design. This choice facilitates event-induced conversions thanks to a high degree of flexibility, while the oak parquet complements the room appearance. Additional reinforcement profiles equip the system against high loads. Adjacent to the raised floor area lies a screed area that has also been fitted with an industrial-design oak parquet. There is no differential in their respective appearance. As to the customer´s wish, the parquet was coated with a white pigmented oil.
