In the Goldschmiedgasse in Vienna’s first district, the office space of IT consultancy HCM ADVICE have been comprehensively refurbished to create a forward-looking working environment for employees and clients. The aim of the project was to design appealing workspaces that meet modern technical and acoustic standards, fostering a productive and welcoming atmosphere.
Lindner GmbH contributed to the modernisation of the new office spaces. In the corridors, curved Lindner MUTE+® baffles blend in with light installations to form an architectural masterpiece, creating a dynamic spatial effect. This is further enhanced by soft light from wave-shaped LED fixtures and an extraordinary light sculpture by Dr Christoph Müller (bewegende Architektur e.U.), perfectly staging the space to create an impressive and vibrant atmosphere.
With nearly 400 acoustic cylinders of varying heights, the design not only achieves an impressive aesthetic with visual lightness and modernity but also effectively reduces noise levels.
The use of glass partition walls with an electrically controllable film allows for variable privacy – at the press of a button, the transparent film becomes opaque, ensuring confidentiality and undisturbed work in the office spaces.
The Lindner Life Stereo 125 glass partition wall also provides excellent soundproofing and F30 fire resistance. Made from Hydro Low-Carbon Aluminium, the profiles produce just a quarter of the CO2 emissions of conventional aluminium, with a maximum of 4.0 kg CO2 emissions per kg of aluminium, compared to the global average. This actively contributes to reducing the ecological footprint.
Combined with the ATB 68 aluminium soundproof door, which achieves sound insulation of up to 42 dB Rw, the result is a working environment that combines exceptional comfort with high sustainability standards.
