The company headquarter of Italgas, a historical building in the centre of Torino, has been extensively renovated to create an agile working environment in the spirit of "New Work". Open-plan offices and co-working areas encourage flexible working, while relaxation zones, sports areas, and roof gardens provide a mental and physical balance. Thanks to the energy refurbishment, the building now achieves specifications according to the LEED Gold certification requirements for energy, environment and sustainability.
Plafotherm® GK HEKDA® plasterboard heated and chilled ceilings from the Lindner Group ensure an optimal indoor climate and maximum comfort in the new office spaces. With their radiant heating and cooling, they significantly contribute to the cozy atmosphere. With an occupancy density of up to 100%, the plasterboard heated and chilled ceiling dissipates maximum cooling loads without restricting the flexibility of the profile arrangement. The ceiling profiles merge with the substructure as structural elements and the seamless surface can be freely designed.
In addition, the Lindner Plafotherm® E 200 suspended ceiling was also installed: this versatile ceiling solution with homogeneous ceiling surfaces impresses with its visual and functional adaptability as well as its simple installation. The ceiling panels can be created in various shapes and sizes, offering design freedom.
