Standing at 155 metres tall with 38 floors, the Marienturm is a distinctive landmark in Frankfurt’s banking district. Following the successful revitalisation of floors 10 and 12 in 2022, the refurbishment of the 16th floor now included the design of flexible open-plan offices, multifunctional conference rooms, and quiet working areas. The overall design of the 16th floor was undertaken by the design office XQUADRAT Architects. Special attention was given to the high-quality interior fittings, which, through the use of premium materials and state-of-the-art technology, ensure the highest comfort and efficiency.
In close collaboration with the architects, the Lindner Group has made significant architectural contributions: The Lindner Life Stereo 125 glass partition wall provides the necessary separation and a pleasant room acoustics within the office areas. Partially designed in F30, it guarantees protection in the event of fire. The walls are complemented by aluminium frame doors of the ATB 100 type in clear glass, which were used for the first time in this project. The aluminium soundproof door, with a door leaf thickness of 100 mm, offers exceptionally high sound insulation of up to 47 dB Rw and features a stylish design with slim profiles. Together with the partition walls, it seamlessly integrates into the high-quality overall appearance of the revitalisation of the 16th floor of the Marienturm.
