Due to high demand and a growing workforce, Thommen Medical, a renowned Swiss manufacturer of dental implants, expanded its production site in Grenchen. In addition to increased logistics and production capacities, the new facility includes a cleanroom, allowing the company to package especially sensitive products under sterile conditions.
The Lindner SE played a crucial role in the development of the cleanroom area, providing custom solutions that meet the high standards of hygiene and functionality. Robust steel doors, some of which are fire-rated, were used along with double-shell Pharma walls to ensure high stability and germ resistance.
The Lindner Cleanlife 619 glass partition wall not only guarantees durability but also provides sound insulation up to 40 dB Rw. These elements are complemented by Swing MPH hinged doors, which are resistant to aggressive cleaning agents and offer maximum flexibility in daily operations. A specialised airlock control system allows for controlled transitions between different cleanroom areas, preventing uncontrolled air flows – ideal for personnel and materials.
For the ceilings, the walkable Line 100S Type 2 ceiling system was chosen, enabling easy maintenance of the cables and utilities above. Appropriate LED lighting ensures optimal illumination and energy efficiency.
