Integrated Project Management

Pulling Together

Our focus when implementing your project? Project success, of course! However, we pursue this goal not alone but together as a team with the client, planners, architects, and other companies, using the approach of integrated project execution (IPA). As an alliance partner of the multi-party contract, we combine our strengths and experience in the respective trades involved in a single construction project – for maximum transparency, maximum cost certainty and fast execution.

Working in an Alliance

In an IPA project, a multi-party contract is signed between the client, architect, planning team, and companies involved in the executing trades. This ensures that all the key partners in the building project are involved from the initial planning phase. Together in an alliance, we then establishcost and schedule goals, which we and all the other project participants pursue equally and cooperatively until the project is completed.

Success through Teamwork: The Benefits of Integrated Project Management

This modern form of contract management offers the highest possible security regardig the feasibility and economic efficiency of the project: By bringing together all the parties involved in a single process, the companies can contribute their many years of know-how to the project and thus optimise complex project workflows. In addition, the strengths of the individual contract partners can be optimally maximised and construction costs and times can be organised efficiently and in a way that is calculable for all. Collaborative project execution also makes it possible to respond quickly to project-related risks and increase transparency.

Practical References

For Lindner, working in a project alliance has already proved its worth in the first German IPA project involving the public sector in building construction: As a partner in the Alliance 3 Schools Bremerhaven, we are responsible for the interior fit-out and technical building equipment of the Hamburger Straße school centre and the new Lehe secondary and primary schools. The school construction project will create three new educational facilities with flexible learning and recreational areas by 2025. The collaborative project execution approach is also being pursued in the Siemensstadt Square project in the Spandau district of Berlin. Together with other alliance partners, we are involved in creating the "city quarter of the future“, realizing the interior fit-out, and facade trades.  In the future, the Siemensstadt area will accommodate people living, researching, residing, and working on over 70 hectares.
