Form Follows Function
The concept for FLEXShell was developed in an intensive Design Thinking Process according to the overriding credo "Form Follows Function": the open room-in-room system was developed over several months precisely according to the needs of its users. Analogous to the architectural concept of the solitaire, it stands out from its surroundings – without any connection to the ceiling or floor. Thanks to numerous optimisations and tests, the result is a working environment that supports its users in drawing on full potential.
Agile Working Environment
The workspace module is designed to undergo metamorphosis, adapting to the challenges ahead, but also to the daily form of its users. Like a shell, FLEXShell can open or close to the outside: even in the largest open-plan office, acoustic elements and an optional acoustic curtain allow for a quiet working atmosphere. Dimmable luminaires ensure the right lighting conditions. Thanks to an integrated glass wall, visual contact between the FLEXShell workstations is possible, while the spread of aerosols is counteracted.
As Individual as Its Users
FLEXShell functions as a frame for design ideas: Ceiling and wall can be individually configured. A wide variety of materials, surfaces, colours and sizes are possible. This not only creates enormous flexibility in office planning and design, but also opens up a completely new interior design quality. With the "Courtyard" add-on, the module can also be enlarged as desired or even turned into a temporary room-in-room office.
