As reaction to new security requirements for passenger and carry-on-luggage checks, Hannover Airport in Langenhagen decided to expand its Terminals. After having already extended Terminal A in 2014, the airport planned similar measures for Terminal C. The aim was, among other things, to connect the buildings with each other in order to create more efficient and faster transport routes between the terminals as well as modern retail areas.
As a full-service provider, the Lindner Group made a significant contribution to realising the airport's vision with various drywall and metal construction works. In addition to the construction of numerous plasterboard walls and ceilings, Lindner was responsible for other installations such as high-quality wooden and sheet steel doors with integrated fire protection and various other door systems.
