Sandler AG, a specialist for nonwoven fabrics, reacted to its general company growth with strong investments in the years 2015 and 2016. Several new production facilities as well as an administration building have been constructed. The latter was put in direct vicinity of the historical existing buildings. It was consciously decided to copy the plain appearance of the other buildings so that no contrast emerges between them. In this way, it appears as if the new construction with its four storeys and 1,600 sqm of floor area had always been there. The interior, however, is characterized by modern and transparent working environments. The offices have been designed to be completely open, only the meeting rooms are separated completely. In order to facilitate concentrated individual work, a custom acoustic concept was implemented with the help of acoustically effective ceilings, floors and partitions.
Lindner contributed ceiling and floor systems to this compound. The cross-noggin post-cap ceilings of type LMD-B 110 were fitted with a perforation and rearside acoutic fleece for this purpose. The latter was produced directly by Sandler, being an expert for nonwovens and a long-time supplier. Additionally, the ceilings have been fitted with luminaires from Lindner Group´s range. In regard of floorings, NORTEC raised floors have been installed with carpet coating, thus meeting the building´s demands.
