Fielmann AG - Modernisation Offices

The Fielmann AG is one of the largest optician chains in Europe. The headquarters is located in a multi-part office building in Hamburg Barmbek. More than 1,100 employees work here in various administrative departments, such as the company's own IT department. As part of extensive expansion modernisation measures, set out as Vision 2025, Fielmann is also planning modernised work areas at the Group headquarters.

As a pilot project, 1,000 m² of modern working environment have been designed for the IT department to offer perfect conditions for better collaboration, communication and productivity and with the main focus lying on user satisfaction.

At the tenant fit-out, based on an office concept by Design2Sense, Lindner was involved with a variety of fit-out services. In addition to drywall work and acoustically effective ceiling canopies, Lindner supplied and installed glass partition systems and doors for separate office and meeting rooms. These are complemented by three different "telephone booths", including a CAS Room (a product development by Carpet Concept, Lindner and GiB innovative Bautechnologie mbH). The heart of the new office space, however, is the recreation room with kitchen and  a staircase with seating possibility made of oak and a spatial partition of wooden slats to the open work areas. The cloakroom and other carpentry, painting and flooring work as well as the sanitary facilities were also provided by Lindner.
