Alemán Hospital is a privately run hospital located in Argentina's capital Buenos Aires with 200 beds and approximately 20,000 patients annually. The recognized teaching hospital specializes in oncology and highly complex operations. For this purpose, it is very important to the operators to keep the hospital technically up to date and to comply with the standards of the International Joint Commission for accredited hospitals of excellence. This has resulted in an extension with a state-of-the-art surgical department with ten new operating theaters.
Together with KARL STORZ, Lindner Reinraumtechnik was responsible for the expansion of the new operating rooms. KARL STORZ was responsible for the endoscopic equipment as well as the equipment with high-resolution monitors in the ORs and also took over the entire project management. They chose Lindner Reinraumtechnik as their partner for the fit-out with cleanroom and hygiene-compliant ceilings, including lights, partitions and doors. In addition to standard designs, Lindner also developed and installed project-specific special solutions such as glass partitions with digital printing and partition shells made of Kerrock material.
The touch panels, which indicate the procedure taking place in the respective OR, were supplied by Bender, in cooperation with Lindner.
