In 2013, camera manufacturer Leica decided to return to its hessian roots with a striking new construction of its company headquarters in the town of Wetzlar. This location posseses high value for Leica, for this was where the first Leica Camera was built 100 years ago. The new headquarters are built upon an area of 27.000 m² - this new construction required an investment of over 65 million Euros. It now houses the administration and production of Leica, as well as a visiors center and a shop. A total of 700 employees work in Wetzlar.
Lindner was comissioned with the fit-out of large parts of the office spaces in the administration and the production areas. Most of fit-out solutions in the production areas needed to be suitable for clean rooms.
