Main Administration of Paulaner Brewery

The Paulaner Area in Munich had been a beer-brewing site for over 400 years. Over the centuries, numerous changes in the building development took place, which constantly brought mixtures between tradition and modern time. The new main administration of the Brewery is a showcase of this continuous change: its heritage-protected outer walls were sustained from the former brewery, which was otherwise deconstructed and replaced by a modern new construction. This new administration building offers 8,000 sqm for housing 350 workplaces. The basement also stems from the former brewery, which was used as a fermenting cellar and redeveloped into areas for events and seminars.

Lindner AG contributed to the new construction of the Paulaner main administration with glass partitions and integrated doors. The office areas have been fitted with partitions of type Lindner Life Freeze 137, which creates spatial separation while maintaining the high transparency created by the pillarless building layout. In the basement, Lindner Life Pure 620 paritions have been chosen, which complement the appeal of the areas through their studless construction. Furthermore, they needed to be customised in order to match the cellar´s arched vault layout. Integrated doors were used on both systems, creating architectural associations to beer kegs through their oak veneer. Additionally, glass doors have partially been integrated in the event areas to avoid negative effects on transparency.
