With the new headquarters in Mladá Boleslav, Škoda Auto is taking a significant step towards the future. Previously spread across 20 different buildings, the Laurin & Klement Campus now brings together up to 2,000 employees from various departments under one roof on over 22,800 m². The campus sets new standards in the working world with an open, flexible working environment that promotes cross-departmental collaboration and networking. In addition to state-of-the-art technologies, the focus was primarily on the sustainability of the new building, for which a DGNB Gold certification is being sought.
Lindner made a significant contribution to the sustainability and aesthetics of the project through the use of innovative materials and constructions. The raised floor LIGNA made of wood, used throughout the office area, is both CO2-reducing and FSC® certified, thus making an important contribution to the ecological footprint of the building. Furthermore, special suspended ceilings for covered areas, which were used in the connecting bridges between the individual buildings of the Laurin & Klement Campus, provide a durable and aesthetically pleasing solution.
