An eye on everything: From the three-sided glass command center of the water police at Mythenquai, one has an optimal overview of the Zurich lake basin. In 24-hour operation, safety and water rescue on the lake are ensured here, and environmental crimes are investigated in the entire city area. In the design of the three-story new building, the focus was also on an unobstructed view and clear architecture. The consortium of e2a Architekten and b+p Baurealisation based their planning on the appearance of the typical landing stages on site.
Above the landing stages, vehicle halls and various functional rooms on the first floor, there are modern office areas and meeting rooms on the 2nd floor and the command office facing the lake.

Here, Lindner was responsible for all office and meeting walls including the door systems, some with security access and intergerated switch panels. The design of the surfaces was adapted to the simple, functional, calm mix of materials and colors. In addition to red lacquered wooden doors, which were specially manufactured with porthole windows, wooden partition walls and wall cladding in veneered maritime pine look can be found.
