1. The house is also occupied by other families. Please be considerate.
    
2. We also kindly request that you refrain from smoking out of consideration for the guests who will follow you in the house.
    
3. In general you will find some things not in the same condition as you might be used to. Due to the location of the house directly by the sea and therefore constantly salty aggressive air, some damages appear not only on metal objects. So for example the bedclothes have some rusty stains, which cannot be removed even by thoroughly washing.
    
4. Please do not use the indoor furniture outside, as it is not suitable for the harsh sea air. If you move any furniture for any reason, please ensure that it is returned to its original place. Keep in mind that it can be very difficult for the caretaker to do this alone.
    
5. Please do not use the balcony and terrace chairs on the beach.
    
6. Urgently we want to warn you for burglaries. Even if you leave the house only for a short time or you go down to the sea, make sure that the house is locked.
    
7. In recent years ants have become an increasing nuisance. Don’t leave any leftover food in the kitchen.
    
8. Please water the plants on the terrace regularly.
    
9. If you use the communal brick barbecue in the garden, please ensure that you clean it afterwards so that the next users can also enjoy it. Please only barbecue at the designated barbecue area on the property.
    
10. In all three apartments, you will find a toolbox with a basic set of tools.

Please park your car on the avenue to the sea. So the space in front of the house is free both for you and for the residents of the other apartments.

You will find large waste containers for waste separation (glass, paper, general waste) approximately 200 meters from the house. Walk out onto the street, then turn left, opposite the La Caleta restaurant, Avenida de Ultramar 95.

If you require additional bedding, please contact the caretaker service. They have spare bedding available. Please do not use the mattress protectors as bed sheets.

Please keep in mind before your departure: The cleaning service will arrive on Friday, your departure day, around 10 a.m. to prepare the house for the next guests. Please vacate the house by 10 a.m. at the latest, to allow enough time for the cleaning. If you need to leave earlier, please inform the caretaker service e.g. via WhatsApp/SMS.. This will allow them more time to manage their workload, as they also attend to the other apartments.

We very much appreciate your support by leaving the residence in a tidy condition.

• Especially the bathroom and kitchen – stove, refrigerator and tableware – should be cleaned. Please empty the refrigerator and waste bins and vacuum clean / sweep the floor.
• Even if it is well-intentioned, please do NOT leave any food or drinks! The cleaning staff is instructed to dispose of all food items. Exceptions: salt, pepper, sugar, and spices.
• If you have rearranged any furniture, please return it to its original position. Please keep in mind that it is difficult for the caretaker to do this alone.
• Remember to close all windows.
• Please remove the bedding from the beds.

In Jávea, no tourist tax is levied.

Electricity

Every apartment is separately electrically interlocked. The electrical fuse box is in apartment 85‑I (ground floor) behind the curtain on the left side of the terrace door, in apartment 85-II in the kitchen and in apartment 85-III (garden floor) in the living room.

Heating

The house has central gas heating. If you want the heating to be switched on please ask the caretaker service.

The gas boiler for hot water is continuously in operation. If the gas bottle runs out, please inform the caretaker service.

The toilet in the large bathroom of apartment 85-1 is still an old Spanish model. To flush it, press the lever down and hold it until all the water is drained. 

Please leave a note for the caretaker, preferably on the dining table.

Please report any damage immediately, e.g. broken coffee machine, so that the guests after you, can also enjoy their stay.

The house has no Wi-Fi.
