The construction of grandstands in cinemas, concert halls and auditoriums always places extraordinary and project-specific demands on the floor construction. Solid yet quick to install, comparatively light yet highly resilient, with a high degree of prefabrication and at the same time extremely flexible - this system floor is up to any challenge. The base layer made of FLOOR and more® elements fulfils building material class A1 (non-combustible). FLOOR and more® arena adapts to any installation situation, whether on a level, sloping or stepped unfinished floor. Radial or polygonal grandstands or the design as a pressurised floor are also possible at any time.

Facings

Staircases, platforms, etc. need to be finished with a front cladding (facing). Where features such as free-standing borders are required, the top edges of the facing will be protected with a stair edging profile. Angles screwed to the subfloor and bracing installed in the upper area of the facing ensure a stable structure.

Expansion joints profiles

In order to take up horizontal and vertical movements in a structural and inconspicuous manner, expansion joint profiles are used in the area of the hollow floor, adapted to the application.

Electrical outlets

As all electrical installations are laid under the hollow floor, electrical connections can be placed exactly where you want them by the insallation of electrical outlets.

Cavity barriers

Three different types of cavity barriers can be possible to meet the different requirements in the hollow floor area. - Ventilation barriers made from coated chipboard panels - Fire protecion barriers made from solid gypsum wall blocks (min. 80 mm) - Sound protection barriers made from foam mortar (min. 100 mm)

Air ventilation outlets

Air ventilation outlets allow the room to be air-conditioned and ventilated without creating draughts. Various systems are available: - Open system Ventilation takes place directly in the cavity for installations, which is designed as a pressure floor, through the corresponding air ventilation outlets or rather through the hexagonal ventilation outlets into the room. - Closed system In a closed system, the air is fed through a pipe system or through cavity barriers with fixed connections to the air ventilation outlets.

Revision openings

As a matter of course, hollow floors also have to guarantee easy access to the installations. For this purpose, FLOOR and more® can be equipped with revision openings. The removable floor panels are supported by a sturdy and surrounding frame which ensures the high stability of the floor construction. The covering separation rails and rubber seal lips can be visually adjusted to the chosen floor covering - so the revision opening blends into the floor surface inconspicuously.

Reinforcement profiles

Standard Lindner floor systems already exhibit high load-bearing capacities. Should these still not be sufficient, the system can be upgraded by reinforcement profiles. Various options are possible, from the lightest stringer which increases lateral rigidity through to a C-profile.
